Macra Agricultural Skillnet welcomes back Lynaire Ryan, Dairy Consultant from New Zealand, who will deliver business seminars,supported by Macra Agricultural Skillnet and other partners over the autumn. The Business Brush Up seminarswill be delivered over four days, one day per week, in Moorepark, Fermoy and in Carlow while the two-day consecutive, Strategic Management programmes are scheduled for venues at Athlone, Waterford, Killarney and Newbridge. A reduced rate for the Strategic Management programme is available to participants who book one of the Business Brush Up seminars.
The ever popular and in demand DIY AI and Ultrasound Scanning courses are scheduled, for weeks 25th – 29th March and 15th to 19th April.
One day courses onHoofcare, Lameness &Mobilityare being run on 5th February and 5th March in Stradbally, Co Laois. The course is delivered by Dunmasc Genetics and costs only €110 for Macra members, with a non-member rate of €135
Professional Hoofcare courses will be delivered on 19th February and again on 1st April, both in Stradbally, with the practical element of the course scheduled to be on a farm on the Wicklow/Kildare borderCow Signals is a one-day course which will take place in Stradbally, Co. Laois on 19th February. This course will help dairy fanners to prevent disease, prolong the life of animals, reduce lameness, wounds and create an improved income for farmers.
