From Fork to Fork Cookery Course

Muskerry Macra ran a very successful basic cookery course for four weeks during month of November. The course was supported by Skillnet and was facilitated by Muskerry Macra member, Sheila Lynch. It was held in Coachford College and Muskerry Macra are very grateful to the school for the use of the facilities. Participants learned basic cookery skills and made different dishes each week to improve their skills while being resourceful with ingredients and time. The aim of the course was to provide nutritional knowledge and cookery skills to Macra members as these are life skills that they will use now and in the future, with rising obesity rate in Ireland these skills are more important than ever.
