The FBD Capers Finals took place on Saturday the 1st of February, in Cork. 6 teams took part in the National Final. Well done to Athboy, Bree, Banteer, Whitechurch, Freemount and Callan who put on an excellent night’s entertainment.

Thank you to our sponsors, judges, presiding officer, timekeeper, host and supporters for travelling and making the night such a success. The results were as follows:

The FBD Capers National Final Winners for 2020 were Bree Macra na Feirme, Wexford.

Macra na Feirme has pledged to increase the visibility of women’s sport in Ireland because if she can’t see it, she can’t be it. 20×20 is about creating a cultural shift in our perception of girls and women in sport.

Upcoming competitions which clubs should strive to encourage their female members to enter are the Women’s Basketball, the Camoige Competition (which is ran by Kilkenny Macra on the Saturday of the Mr Personality Weekend) and Volleyball.
