The Club of the Year competition is designed to encourage clubs to be dynamic and active, rewarding their achievements and contributions at both a local and a national level.
The National Final takes place at the Macra na Feirme Annual Conference (Rally) each year. The final judging involves clubs displaying their club’s achievements, followed by a 2-minute presentation in the evening.

- Staying Connected Award for Best Online Event, Kilmallock Macra, Co Limerick
- Originality Award for the Best New Idea, Ballincollig Macra, Co Cork
- Best Community Engagement Award, Banteer Macra, Co Cork

Best New Member
As part of the Club of the Year Competition, an award for Best New Macra Member is presented to an individual Macra member, who joined the organisation between March 1, 2020 and February 28, 2021, and who is deemed by his/her club to have made a significant contribution to the development of the club during his or her first year of membership.
The winner is awarded with a brand new Ipad.
