We are a voluntary organisation consisting of a nationwide network of 170 clubs.
Each club is supported by County or Regional Executives who feed into a National Council which is responsible for appointing a Board of Directors to provide oversight of the organisation’s management.
The National Council is chaired by a National President who is the most senior voluntary leader within the organisation. The National President provides leadership to National Council, acts as the main spokesperson for the organisation and is also on the Board of Directors and the Finance & Audit sub-committee.
Macra na Feirme has three Vice-Presidents in Munster, Leinster and the North West. They support the work of the National President, with particular emphasis on the development of their own region.
The Board of Directors appoints and oversees the CEO who manages the National Staff and runs Macra na Feirme on behalf of the National Council.
